Gitta van der Meer

Gitta van der Meer is an all-round international development advisor. Her aim is to drive operational excellence and boost impact. 

A trained lawyer with an LL.M in Private Law & Corporate Law and working in development since 2011, she brings over 17 years of international experience in commercial and non-profit operations. Gitta has a strong track record in the design, set-up and management of a wide range of development projects with actors including governments, international organisations, civil society organisations, research institutes, corporations, start-ups and social enterprises. In particular, she has extensive knowledge and experience operating in low-resource settings on innovative projects in the areas of global health, access to services/information, and digital interventions. She has experience working in over 20 countries in Asia, Sub Saharan Africa and Latin America, including fragile and conflict affected states.
