Heloise Widdig

Heloise Widdig, MSc, is a junior advisor in the health systems strengthening team at KIT. With a background in anthropology, global health, and health economics, she uses an interdisciplinary toolkit to approach her work.

Heloise completed her MSc thesis research under the umbrella of the Health Pooled Fund operational research agenda led by KIT. In this project, she investigated the political economy of the priority-setting processes determining service provision within the Health Pooled Fund in South Sudan.

She has also worked as a Knowledge Officer within ASCEND, a project working to achieve global targets for the control and elimination of neglected tropical diseases (NTDs). She is currently working on a Global Fund Strategic Initiative sub-component focusing on policy planning for human resources for health.
