Lincie Kusters

Lincie Kusters, is a social scientist who wants to contribute—through research and education—to evidence informed programming on adolescents & women’s sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR).

Lincie has 18 years’ experience working in international development. She was at Oxfam for 11 years where she was responsible for policy and programme development, and knowledge management focusing on SRHR, gender, HIV, and AIDS. At KIT Royal Tropical Institute, she combines SRHR and gender training, operational research, curriculum development and capacity strengthening in collaboration with a variety of African institutes and organisations. Her energy goes out to reinforcing the self-autonomy and decision making of women and girls. She focuses especially on their SRHR in the complex mix of cultural, religious and global development paradigms in fragile and less fragile settings.
