
Miltiadis Gkouzouris
Miltiadis Gkouzouris was appointed CEO a.i. of KIT in May 2025. Prior to this, from 2018, he served on KIT’s Members’ Council, occupying the permanent seat held by founding member HVA (Handelsvereniging Amsterdam).
Miltiadis is the CEO of HVA, established in 1879—a Dutch company specializing in agricultural project development and asset management—a role he has held since 2018.
With a solid background in finance, cost engineering, and project management, Miltiadis has been instrumental in driving HVA’s strategic growth and expanding its international footprint.In addition to his executive roles, Miltiadis serves as a Council Member of the World Agricultural Forum, contributing to global dialogue and policy development on sustainable agriculture and food systems.
Miltiadis holds an MBA from Nottingham Trent University, studied Business Economics in Amsterdam, and pursued additional studies in Communication Management and Journalism in Utrecht.
From 2015 to 2017, he served as Chief Operating Officer at an international corporation, overseeing a global portfolio and leading complex negotiations in trade credit insurance and risk management. Between 2012 and 2014, he led the successful corporate turnaround of a Greek state-owned transport company with over 8,500 employees.
Miltiadis is a founding member of Orange Grove, a startup incubator launched in collaboration with the Embassy of the Netherlands in Athens to support young entrepreneurs in Greece. He also played a key role in the establishment of SDG House Greece—an initiative inspired by and connected to KIT’s own SDG House initiative—fostering innovation and collaboration around the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
