Noor Tromp, MSc, PhD is a health systems advisor with a master in Health Technology Assessment and PhD in priority setting in HIV control from the Radboud University.
At KIT Royal Tropical Institute she works as an advisor on various projects in the field of health systems strengthening and sexual reproductive health and rights (SRHR).
Noor has strong research skills and masters a broad range of research methods (e.g. systematic reviews, policy analysis, costing and cost-effectiveness analysis, mixed-methods evaluation and operational research).
As a teacher and coordinator she is involved in various ICHD modules and short courses (e.g. social determinants of health, policy analysis, health systems research and human resources for health, analysis of disrupted health systems). She is member of SDG taskforce and coordinates the framework agreement between Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida) on health and SRHR.
Noor is particular interested in knowledge translation issues to close the gap between research, policy and practice.
