Ophelia Chatterjee

Ophelia Chatterjee is a Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights advisor with extensive experience facilitating a range of SRHR-related projects, multi-level evaluations, and trainings in Asia and sub-Saharan Africa. A large part of her work has centered on increasing civic space, gender equality, and the reach and quality of comprehensive sexuality education. She has a particular interest in the links between SRHR and the climate crisis.

She has also been involved in projects that seek to reduce child marriage, teen pregnancy and gender-based violence. She has experience in quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-method analyses. 

Before joining KIT, Ophelia worked in local government under the public health and environmental departments in the United Kingdom. Ophelia has an MSc in Sociology from the University of Amsterdam.
