Sandra Quintero

Sandra Quintero is a gender expert with 20 years of experience as a researcher and practitioner  in the areas of gender, development, and human rights. She conducts gender assessments and audits, and capacity building programmes, develops gender strategies, policies, and programme evaluations using gender rights and gender transformative approaches.

Sandra has a strong record in the implementation of institutional programmes with a wide variety of actors, including governments, CSOs, educational and research institutes, and international organisations.
She is a trained lawyer with an LLM degree in Public International Law.

Sandra has worked as a manager and technical advisor on projects focusing on gender and agriculture, natural resource management, financial inclusion, health, education, and peace and conflict. She has worked in different countries in South Asia, Sub Saharan Africa, MENA, Europe, and Latin America.

Sandra’s work with knowledge institutes enables her to transcend local realities, develop versatile intervention tools, and gain valuable insights through comparative analysis.
