KIT Institute in Amsterdam is a leading centre of expertise for sustainable economic development, gender, and health care. We conduct research and provide advisory services and training in developing countries on a wide range of development issues. We stimulate interactions between global, national and local levels partners and help to bring theory into practice.

KIT Institute organizes training programmes for mid-career health professionals from various disciplinary backgrounds and nationalities for over 60 years and has an extensive alumni network with people from all over the world. Our flagship programme is the Amsterdam based Master of Public Health and health Equity (MPH-HE) programme; the MPH-HE is awarded by the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU) and is accredited by the Netherlands-Flemish Accreditation Organization (NVAO). The MPH-HE is designed to develop the capacity of participants to use an integrated, multi-disciplinary approach to address health problems in low and middle income settings.

KIT further organises 2-3 week specialisation courses on Health systems, Disease Control, Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights and Epidemiology as well as twice a year a 3 month ‘Core Course for Public Health and Health Equity’ for Dutch and international students.

We seek an enthusiastic support officer for the role of course administrator for the educational programmes at KIT.
