KIT Royal Tropical Institute has a vacancy for an impact evaluator/development economist for 32 to 38 hours a week. The department of Sustainable Economic Development and Gender comprises an international team of about 40 advisors working to improve the performance of programs, companies and organizations that pursue sustainable and inclusive development. The M&E for Social Impact team is one of the three teams in this department.

We offer strategic, tailor-made advice based on data and evidence to help our development partners manage, evaluate and improve their impact. We do this through impact evaluations, applied research, advisory services, and long-term impact management partnerships with implementing organizations. The team consists of 9 advisors with a strong quantitative research background (econometrics, applied statistics, data science) and with diverse thematic expertise. The work takes place majorly at KIT’s office in Amsterdam but also, from home or other places when necessary. It will eventually require travelling for short assignments to different low and middle-income countries (LMICs). Our organisation’s working language is English.
