KIT Royal Tropical Institute has a vacancy for Senior Advisor M&E for Social Impact for 32 to 40 hours a week. The department of Sustainable Economic Development and Gender comprises an international team of 36 advisors working to improve the performance of programmes, companies and organisations that pursue sustainable and inclusive development. The main fields of work of the unit are Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL), Inclusive Food Systems, Responsible Agribusiness and Gender. The M&E for Social Impact team is one of the four teams in this department. We offer strategic, tailor-made advice based on data and evidence to help our development partners manage, evaluate and improve their impact. We do this through shorter assignments, such as impact evaluations, applied research, or advisory services, and through long-term partnerships with implementing organisations. The team consists of 11 advisors with a strong quantitative research background and with a diversity of thematic expertise.

The work takes place majorly at KIT’s office in Amsterdam but also, from home or other places when necessary. It will eventually require travelling for short assignments to different low and middle-income countries (LMICs). Our organisation’s working language is English.
